Three facts that should shape the room
Pulled from the CRM this morning. Every figure on this page is a live record, not an estimate.
The Samsung SLA is the wound
“New York Mets — Samsung SLA”, close date 1 Jan 2026, carried $1.25M revenue and $250K margin. It is the most recent decision the Mets made about who services their venue.
Samsung has been the ballpark's official display and technology partner since 2021 — the 2023 centrefield board, 1,300+ displays, the 4K control room. That is the estate the SLA was about, and the reason to walk in selling service, not hardware.
Two pursuits are frozen, not dead
NY Mets — LCD Refresh (close Apr 2027) and Metropolitan Park — Queens (close Jan 2028), both with Alex Gomez.
On-hold is a posture, not a verdict. A credible service story is the single most likely thing to unfreeze them.
You already have the receipts
Rotational services from 2014, renewed 2016, MLB advertising inventory carried through 2024–26. You personally carried the 2020 rotational services deal.
This is a relationship with history. Lead with continuity, not with a pitch.
The lane nobody has claimed
From the field research. Every claim here is sourced on the Field Research tab.
Metropolitan Park has no announced AV scope
The $8.1B Hard Rock development next to the ballpark was licensed on 15 Dec 2025 and site prep began Feb 2026. It includes a 5,650-seat Hard Rock Live venue, a casino floor, a hotel and a food hall.
No display, scoreboard or control-room scope has been published for any of it. ANC already has an opportunity on the books named “Metropolitan Park — Queens”, on hold, closing Jan 2028. Hard milestones start Oct 2027; the venue itself lands Jun 2030.
The LCD Refresh is real and well timed
The 1,300+ LCD/LFD displays went in across 2022–23. A normal replacement cycle puts them squarely inside 2026–2028 — which is exactly where ANC's on-hold “NY Mets — LCD Refresh” (Apr 2027) sits.
That pursuit is not stale. It is early.
What the demo proves
- Named accountability. A venue manager and a lead field rep, on the record, on the page.
- Every game accounted for. 81 games loaded from the league schedule, no one typing dates in.
- A time-stamped chain of custody. Check-in, game-ready and post-game, per technician, per game.
- A ticket history that closes. 46 issues logged, resolved, and attributable.
- The system chases the gap. It flags unstaffed games before anyone has to notice.
What to keep off the table
- Don't pitch a new videoboard. The 2023 centrefield board is two years old and no replacement plan is public. Pitching hardware reads as not knowing the building.
- Don't relitigate the SLA. Never mention the incumbent by name. You're showing forward motion.
- Don't lead with price. This meeting buys credibility, not a number.
- Don't oversell the AI panel. It's a useful flag, not a promise of autonomy.
- Be straight that the activity is sample data. Say it once, early, plainly — it makes everything after it more believable, not less.
Every Mets opportunity in the CRM

The shape of it
2014 → 2020
Rotational services and print/ad revenue. Steady, renewed, uneventful. This is the era ANC owned the account.
2021 → 2023
The $3.5M Lineup & Digital Diorama upgrade is lost. Advertising inventory continues and renews through 2026 — the commercial relationship survives the technology loss.
2026 → now
The Samsung SLA is lost in January. Both remaining pursuits go on hold. The account is warm commercially and cold technically.
The click path
Five screens, roughly six minutes. Citi Field is live in the Service Dashboard now — open it before the meeting so it's already loaded in a tab.
-
Open on the venue, not the menu
They see the ballpark's own page: address, who owns it, contract and licence dates, the rack, the open ticket count. Not a product tour — their venue.
This is Citi Field the way our operations team sees it every day. Antony manages the venue, Aidan is the lead field rep on site. Contract and Live Sync licence dates are on the record, so nothing renews by surprise.

The schedule loads itself
81 games came from the league schedule. Nobody keyed them in, and nobody forgets one.
Every home game for the season is already in here, pulled from the league schedule. The nights nobody staffs are the nights something goes wrong, so the system tracks all of them, not just the ones somebody remembered.
02 — Schedule · real 2026 Mets home slate, first pitch times, staffing state -
The accountability chain — this is the one that matters
Open a played game. Check-in, game-ready, post-game, each stamped with a time and a name. Slow down here. This is the whole argument.
Here's a game from last week. Antonio checked in at 2:20, three hours before first pitch. Charles confirmed the boards were up at 3:50. The post-game report was filed at 7:37 that night. If you ever ask us what happened on a given night, that's the answer — with names and times on it, not a recollection.
03 — Game-day chain of custody · check-in 2:20 PM, game ready 3:50 PM, post-game 7:37 PM -
Issues that close, with a paper trail
46 tickets across the season — brightness mismatches, feed drops, processor crashes — each with a priority, an owner and a resolution.
Every issue anyone raises becomes a ticket with an owner and a clock. You can see what was raised, who took it, and how it was closed. Nothing lives in someone's text messages.
04 — Support history · 46 tickets, priority, owner, resolution -
Close on the flag, not on a perfect screen
The intel panel is calling out six upcoming games with no crew assigned. Leave it on screen. A dashboard that only ever looks green is a dashboard nobody believes.
And notice it's telling on us — six games ahead with nobody assigned yet, flagged before anyone had to spot it. That's the point. You find out from the system, early, not from a dark board on a Friday night.
05 — Crew roster · eight field staff attached to the venue
Open, pivot, close
Short, in your voice. The demo does the arguing — you just have to frame it.
Continuity, not a pitch
“We've been working with this building since 2014 — rotational services, the advertising inventory we're still running through this season. I wanted to show you what our service operation actually looks like now, because it's changed a lot.”
Name the standard, not the rival
“Whoever services this building should be able to tell you, on any night of the season, who was on site, what time they got there, and what they found. Let me show you how we answer that.”
Ask for the next room
“If this is the standard you want on the building, the next conversation is what coverage looks like for your season. Who else should see this before we get to that?”
Plant Metropolitan Park
“Separately — as Metropolitan Park comes together, the Hard Rock Live room is going to need exactly this kind of operation from day one. Worth us being in that conversation early rather than at handover.” Then stop. Don't pitch it, plant it.
If they push
“Is this our real data?”
Answer immediately and without flinching: the schedule is real, the activity is sample. “The 81 games are your actual home schedule. The staffing and tickets are sample activity so you can see the shape of a full season — day one with us, this fills with your real nights.”
“We already have a service agreement.”
Don't fight it. “Understood — I'm not asking you to tear anything up. I want you to know what the standard looks like when it comes time to renew, and to be the call you make when something goes dark.”
“What happens when something breaks at 9pm?”
Point at the ticket list. “It becomes one of these, with an owner and a clock, inside the same system the crew already lives in. Not an email chain.”
“Can we see our own venue in here?”
This is the buying signal. “That's exactly what I'd want to set up next — your building, your schedule, your crew, live.”

Six questions to ask in the room
- 1. Who holds service and maintenance on the display estate today, and on what term? No public source names anyone.
- 2. Are the 2009 Daktronics leftfield fascia ribbons still in place, or were they inside the Samsung replacement? Sources say “ribbon boards” without naming a supplier post-2022.
- 3. Chase this one first. What is the display and AV scope for Hard Rock Live, the hotel and the casino floor — and who procures it? It is the only unclaimed lane with a hard date on it.
- 4. Does the March 2026 licence lawsuit move the 2027–2028 garage milestones?
- 5. What is the refresh cycle on the 1,300+ displays installed 2022–23? That window opens inside this pursuit's horizon.
- 6. Who owns game-day content operations day to day — technology or in-game operations?
